There are a considerable number of winemakers on the opposite side of Lake Murten that will tantalize you to taste their produce. Particularly in the villages of Môtier and Praz. They all are well established and have perfected their winemaking techniques, focusing on reducing quantity in favor of the quality. Some of the wines have excelled and are rated by recognized institutions.

Bowling center in Muntelier
2 km from the Hotel (30 min walking along Lake Murten), you will find one of the biggest Bowling centers of Switzerland. With 24 lanes open 365 days a year, it offers fun and a team building opportunity after a full seminar day.
Karting Indoor Attractions SA - Payerne
With an area of 8000 m2, the indoor kart track is the largest in Europe and the only one in Switzerland with a steep wall curve. Entertainment is guaranteed even in bad weather.
Papiliorama in Kerzers
Visitors will find a tropical environment of approx. 1'200 sqm with more than a thousand butterflies, a jungle track, a nocturnal house and a children’s zoo. An adventure, regardless of the weather.
Museum in Murten
Located just outside of the city walls, in the old town mill, the Museum of Murten is one of the oldest museums in the canton of Fribourg. The permanent exhibition documents 6'000 years of history of Murten and its surroundings. You will discover interesting stories about the people that lived in the area from times gone by.
Laténium in Hautrerive/Neuchâtel
The Laténium is the biggest museum for archeology in Switzerland and is designed for visitors from 4 to 104 years of age. In a beautiful, scenic area, the museum is state of the art and a prize winner with the Council of Europe. An educational location with a touch of entertainment, regardless of the weather.
Maison Cailler in Broc
The favorite and sweetest chocolate adventure in Switzerland. Guided tours are available lasting about an hour where you will discover the history of chocolate from one of Switzerlands oldest producers. Discover how cocoa beans plus various high quality ingredients transform into delicious chocolate creations. Smell and enjoy the amazing variety and aroma.
The visit at Maison Cailler can be easily combined with a visit to the nearby historic old town of Gruyère famous for its cheese.
